INCA TRAIL TO MACHUPICCHU
4 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS

FIRST DAY:

We pick you up at your hotel between 6:30 and 7:00 in the morning to take you by bus to Km. 82, from where a long trekking will begin. In the course of the long walk we will be able to observe to the distance the archeological site of LLACTAPATA. Likewise, the flora and fauna of this region. All this will last approximately 5 hours, until we reach the first camp site called WAYLLABAMBA, where we will taste a delicious soup and spend the first night.

SECOND DAY:

We will get up around 6:00 a.m., immediately we will have breakfast and undertake with the long trek. As the first day, we will observe the beautiful and calm landscape on the way, moreover, feeling the change of the weather of the Puna until we reach the highest point, at about 4,200 m above sea level, to the place called WARMIWAÑUSCA (dead woman). We shall rest for a few minutes, to immediately descend. We will have lunch along the way. After lunch we continue walking until arriving to the second camp site called PACAYMAYO. There, a nice and hot dinner will be waiting for us. We will spend the night here. This hard trek lasts between 7 to 8 hours.

THIRD DAY:

We shall get up around 7 o'clock in the morning. Our cooks will be waiting for us with a delicious breakfast. After that, we will start walking. This day it is a special day because we will visit the archeological sites of RUNCURACAY, SAYACMARCA, PHUYUPATAMARCA. We will stop on the way to have lunch. Our third camp site will probably be at PHUYUPATAMARCA or WIÑAYWAYNA. These options depends on the spaces that the office reserves that INRENA will give us. This section lasts approximately between 6 to 7 hours. From PHUYUPATAMARCA, if we spend the night at WIÑAYWAYNA, the section to walk will take us 3 hours approximately.

FOURTH DAY:

We will awake very early, between 3 to 4 in the morning, after breakfast, after our last walking section, we will arrive to INTIPUNCU from where we will be able to observe the great MACHUPICCHU, arriving around 7 to 8 in the morning. Then, we will have a small break to enter into the sanctuary
and have a guided visit of approximately two hours. You, as tourists will have enough time to delight with the beauty and mystery of MACHUPICCHU. After that unforgettable experience we will have to go down to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train and return to Cusco. We can take it at the different schedules the train offers depending on the season. They have from 1:00 p.m until 5:00 p.m. By train, we will get to OLLANTA town and there we take the bus to return to Cusco.
